Victoria Alarca received her bachelors degree from Pacific in May 2022 and will be pursuing her Masters of Business Administration in Accounting in the fall of 2022. She is looking forward to furthering her knowledge in the field and gaining useful tips for her career.
Melany Alcazar graduated from Pacific in 2024 with a degree in Business Administration - Management and Human Resources and Business Administration - Marketing. She recently completed a full-time internship at Tesla as a Recruiting Intern on their Mexico team, currently serves as the Assistant Director for Career Services at the University of the Pacific and is pursuing a Master's degree in International Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. After just one semester at Pacific, Dustin J. Brakebill, has already achieved exciting goals in his career. Brakebill was elected as a delegate in the California Democratic Party and even had the chance of working for the Susan Talamantes-Eggman for State Senate campaign.
Brakebill says the Career Services Center has helped him professionally through its Career and Internship Orientation class and resume assistance.
Christopher Cardenas landed a position at Travelers Insurance after completing two summer internships with the organization. He is now working full-time as an Underwriting Professional Development Program and says Career Services helped him prepare his resume, cover letter, and interview.
Logan Cope is a double major legacy student dedicated to the Pacific community. He has worked with our career advisors to prepare for grad school and is currently fulfilling his passion for leadership and mentorship as a resident advisor on campus.
Jessica Cruz graduated from Pacific in 2024 with a degree in speech language pathology. She is now attending the Pacific School of Health Sciences's graduate program in speech language pathology. Career Services supported her with building out her resume and providing guidance while she was writing her personal statement.
Makaila Gaff will be continuing her education at University of the Pacific. She was accepted into Pacific's graduate program for biology and is looking forward to earning her master's degree.
Jon Havton graduated from Pacific with his Master's in Accounting. He landed a position with Ernst & Young as a Tax Associate and is looking forward to joining the industry. During his time at Pacific, Jon made many meaningful relationships thanks to his involvement with student organizations.
Sara Lopez received her bachelor's degree in diversified education in May of 2022 and landed a position as a second-grade teacher with her alma mater, Aspire Public Schools. Her dream was to give back to the community that supported and uplifted her success. She also received an award from her institution in recognition of her college graduation and contribution to the community. Career Services is proud of her success and accomplishments.
Cynia Manning graduated from Pacific with a degree in political science in 2024. She interned for a criminal justice law firm before beginning for a master's program in public policy and higher education at Sacramento State. Career Services provided her with professional attire and helped her edit and revise her resume.
Gaby Moreno accepted a position as an Account Service Representative at Inductive Automation before she graduated.
Gabby is an English Literature major with a minor in Spanish, and she reached out to Career Services for a mock interview to prepare for her real interview.
Khushboo Patel majored in Economics and International Affairs and Commerce at Pacific and is now pursuing her master's degree in International and Development Economics at the University of San Francisco.
Abha Patkar landed a position as a dental assistant thanks to the help from our career advisors. She frequently worked with our office for help with her resume and for booking interview rooms. Patkar also attended our internship and career fair where she had the opportunity of networking with employers.
Guadalupe Reyes earned her Master's in Engineering Science at Pacific and is now practicing her skills as a Staff Engineer at JC Wagner & Associates, Inc. Reyes is looking forward to joining a strong and supportive team in her favorite civil engineering discipline.
RJ Rossi graduated from Pacific with a degree in political science in 2024. He served as a Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC's Summer of Service in the North Central Region of the United States and was in charge of a team of up to 12 servicemembers. They worked with government and local non-profits to complete projects to help the country's underserved and underrepresented communities. In the Fall, he started UC Irvine's Master of Public Policy program.
Career Services was instrumental in providing him with the constructive criticism necessary to craft a resume capable of being accepted into UC Irvine and AmeriCorps NCCC. Career Services' interview guidance was incredibly helpful both for his interviews with both organizations.
Joanna Valadez Salcedo graduated with a bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology and Spanish. She worked with the career center to enhance her resume and attended the 2021 fall internship and job fair. There, she networked with several employers and landed a position as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant for a school in the Bay Area.
Samantha Sanchez majored in Music Therapy and landed an internship with Professional Child Development Associates, Inc. Samantha will have the opportunity of working with several professionals during her internship and is looking forward to all the opportunities it will offer.
Sydney Zucco graduated from Pacific with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2024. She got a job with Lockheed Martin in the aeronautics division as a Flight Test Control Engineer. Career Services helped her improve her resume skills and learn how to improve her elevator pitch when she went to SWE conferences.
